Top 50 List for 2023 (of Films I’d Never Seen Before).

Last year, one of the goals I set for myself was to watch at least one film a day that I’d never seen before. Films tha stretched from 1921 to 2022. I missed 37 days of the year not watching any films, but I ended up with a grand total of 474, out of 675 films watched. So, a little past my goal.

Here’s the top 50 of those 474. I thought for sure that the number one film of the year was going to stay number one by the end of the year. I’d seen it on March 25, as the 126th film of the year, and the 104th one I hadn’t seen. You could tellthat I thought highly of that film. But then 275 days later (546 films later), on Christmas Day, out of nowhere, came a film that ended up tying for first place.
