2022 Film Watch (December)

Continuing on from 2020, I’m keeping track of the films that I’m watching during 2022, by month.

Here’s to December 2022!

I hit 474 films this year that I’d never seen before, 123 of them this month alone – which works about to around 1/6th of the films I watched total (675).

Film of Note: It’s not often a person gets to do something like this, but I watched STUDIO 666 as my 666th film of the year.

2022 Film Watch (November)

Continuing on from 2020, I’m keeping track of the films that I’m watching during 2022, by month.

Here’s to November 2022!

This has been a successful month. At the start of the year, I decided that as a goal I would watch at least one new film a day for the year. I didn’t manage that (have about a month’s worth of missed days for any film watching), I did manage to go beyond a minimum of 365 films I’d never seen before.

This month, with the cult classic anime AKIRA, I hit my 500th film of the year watched, which was also the 400th film of the year I’d never seen before. So, yeah. Bit of a big milestone. And so far, with a month and half left in the year, I have never once felt like hitting my goals, or even just watching films, was a chore, which is nice.

And then I went and hit the 550th film of the year. Go me!
